Occupants
Susanna/f/5/N.B./Methodist/English/Going to School
Abraham/m/3/N.B./Methodist/English
Mary/f/1/N.B./Methodist/English
Comments on this family:
There is no sign of Flann's in the 1851, 1861 or 1871 census for New Brunswick.
Mary Clara's maiden name spelt: Ganuie, Gagnier & Ganouie (NB Archives online children births). Don't know which spelling is correct and haven't found any surname like that in my research. She was French.

Comments on this family:
I believe that Martha Flann (7) above married Archibald William Hamilton (Bessie's brother).  Martha and William would be the parents of Dorothy Eileen Hamilton who married John Daniel MacCormack.
Mary Clara's maiden name spelt: Ganuie, Gagnier & Ganouie (NB Archives online children births). Don't know which spelling is correct and haven't found any surname like that in my research. She was French.

Susanna, Abraham and Mary have moved on.
The 1901 census shows an Abraham Flann (b 9 May 1877; age at last birthday 23) married to Margaret Flann (b 16 May 1879; age at last birthday 21; her maiden name was Arseneau).  They too were living in Colborne Parish.
Mary Clara's maiden name spelt: Ganuie, Gagnier & Ganouie (NB Archives online children births). Don't know which spelling is correct and haven't found any surname like that in my research. She was French.

1911 Census Data - Restigouche County, New Brunswick
Comments on this family:
No sign of this family in the 1911 census. Everyone except the Abraham mentioned immediately above seems to have moved on.
The 1911 census for Colborne Parish still shows  Abraham Flann 36, (b May 1875) married to Maggie Flann 32, (b May 1879; her maiden name was Arseneau). Even though the ages differ from the 1901 census this is the same family.
